Your Mweb Mail Is Getting an Upgrade

Your Mweb Mail Is Getting an Upgrade

  • We’re giving your email a fresh new home on our upgraded mail platform!
It’s faster, smarter, and better, and it won’t cost you a cent.

This upgrade will make managing your email simpler and more reliable, while keeping your settings and access just the way you like them.

  • Here’s What You Can Expect

If you use IMAP on Outlook, Mac Mail, or another mail app, you won’t notice any changes. Your emails, folders, and settings will all stay the same.

    POP3 users:
If your email is set up using POP3 and you’ve enabled “Leave a copy of messages on the server”, your emails may download again after the upgrade. This is normal and happens because POP3 does not track previously downloaded messages when a mailbox is moved to a new platform.

To avoid this, we recommend switching to IMAP, which keeps everything in sync.

  • Using Mweb Webmail

You’ll see a refreshed design with smarter ways to manage your mail, including setting up autoreplies, creating aliases, and managing out-of-office messages.

  • Deleted Emails Folder

This won’t be migrated, so make sure you want to delete what is in that folder, or else move it to another folder.

  • Using Briefcase

Briefcase data won’t be moving across. Please back up your files to your device or preferred cloud storage before migration.

  • Tasks

Our new platform lets you create and manage tasks, but any existing tasks won’t be migrated. Make a note or print anything you still need.

  • Contacts & Calendars

No need to lift a finger, your contacts and calendars will move over automatically.

  • When It’s Happening

We’ll begin migrating accounts soon and will send you a friendly heads-up before your mailbox moves.

We expect little (if any) downtime during the migration; your mail should remain available throughout.
