How to Setup Mail Forwarding

• Using a different email address, but still want to keep track of what’s arriving in your Mweb mailbox?
  
  You can easily setup forwarding and have messages sent to your Mweb mailbox automatically delivered to a different address.
  
  When you are ready to proceed, simply login to your account at www.mweb.co.za and follow along.

  Locate the Mailbox

  Locate the mailbox want to setup Forwarding for and click on the cog next to the mailbox service.
  
  If your mailbox is bundled with your connection you will find it under the included services for that product.

  Open Mail Forwarding

  The Mailbox settings window will appear.

  Click on the Down Arrow to expand the Mail Forwarding section.

  Edit Forwarding Settings

  1. Move the slider to Enabled to activate Forwarding.
  2. Fill in the address you wish to forward to.
  3. Activate Keep a Copy to leave forwarded mails in your Mweb mailbox.

  Finish making changes to your settings and then click Save.

  • Can I forward to any other email address?

  • Yes you can forward to any other email address that you own and have access to.

  • Is forwarded mail deleted?

  • Yes forwarded mail is automatically deleted from your mailbox unless you activate the Keep a Copy setting.

  • What happens when I reply to forwarded emails?

  • The replies will come for the mailbox your forwarded to and will look as if they are sent from that address.
