- MWEB will never ask for your password. Whether via email, phone, or chat, MWEB will never request your login details. Any such request is a clear red flag.
- MWEB no longer sends invoice emails. You can access all invoices through the MWEB App or by logging into your account online. If you receive an email with an invoice attachment, it’s likely a phishing attempt.
- Verify the sender’s email address. MWEB will only send communications from an “@mweb.com” domain. If the address doesn’t match, it’s likely a scam.
To ensure your MWEB account is protected, follow these simple steps:
- Enable spam filtering. Spam filters block most phishing emails before they reach your inbox. Make sure your MWEB spam filter is active to minimize exposure to these threats.

- Keep your OTP (One-Time Password) number updated. Your OTP provides extra protection for your account. Always make sure your contact details are current to avoid disruptions.
