Can I Use My Own LTE Router with Mweb’s Sim-Only LTE?
Yes - but only if it’s compatible with the LTE network you're connecting to. Here's the lowdown:
✅ If You're on Telkom LTE
You’re sorted! Telkom doesn’t lock down router options, so any LTE router will work with your Mweb Sim-only product.
⚠️ If You're on MTN LTE
MTN is a little fussier. It only supports certain LTE and 5G routers. If your device is listed below, you’re good to go.
Not listed? You’ll need to grab a compatible router when signing up or later via your Mweb Online Store (available exclusively to existing customers).
