Debit Order Dates and Payment Options

• You are in control of your debit order date. Choose the 1st, 27th, or the last working day, or settle your bill in your Online Account.

  • Update your debit order date directly in your Online Account
  • Prefer paying yourself? Use the Pay option under My Billing in your Online Account.
  • To avoid duplicate payments, make any manual payment at least 2 days before your debit order date

  Available Debit Order Dates

  We run debit order collections on three dates each month:

  • 1st day of the month
  • 27th day of the month
  • Last working day of the month

  What is the “last working day”?

  The final weekday (Monday to Friday) of the month that is not a South African public holiday.

  Choose or Change Your Collection Date

  You can update your debit order date in your Online Account:

  1. Sign in to your Online Account.
  2. Go to My Billing.
  3. Select Change Debit Order Date.
  4. Choose the 1st, 27th, or last working day.

  Tip: Pick the date that aligns best with when you usually receive income.

  Manual or Once-Off Payments

  If you prefer to pay yourself, you can settle your invoice in your Online Account:

  1. Sign in to your Online Account.
  2. Go to My Billing.
  3. Select Pay and follow the prompts.

  Important
  If you make a manual payment, do it at least 2 days before your debit order date to reduce the chance of a duplicate collection.

  Which debit order dates can I choose from?
  The 1st, 27th, or last working day of the month.

  What if none of these dates line up with my pay day?
  Choose the closest of the three. If it still does not suit you, you can pay manually in your Online Account each month.

  What happens if I do not have funds on the collection date?
  You can make a manual payment in your Online Account as soon as your invoice is available. Many banks also let you create a stop order or a payment reminder.

  What exactly counts as the last working day?
  The final Monday to Friday of the month that is not a public holiday in South Africa.

  Can I still make manual payments if the new dates do not suit me?
  Yes. Use the Pay option under My Billing in your Online Account. If you pay manually, make the payment at least 2 days before your debit order date to avoid duplicates.
