Why Emails Are Not Sending

  • 1) Confirm SMTP settings

    • Server: smtpauth.mweb.co.za
    • Port: 587
    • Authentication: Enabled (full email and password)
    • Encryption: Enabled

    2) Review sending rules

    • Up to 25 recipients per message.
    • About 400 messages per hour.
    • 35 MB maximum message size.
      If reached, resend later, split recipients, or reduce attachments.

    3) Check the basics

    • Internet connected; recipient address correct.
    • Your chosen mailbox storage size isn’t full.

    4) Read any bounce/error

    • Oversize: compress files or use a sharing link.
    • High volume: wait, then resend in smaller batches.
    • Auth/relay denied: re-enter password; ensure authentication is on.

    5) Ask the recipient to check their side

    • Ask them to review Spam/Junk and Quarantine.
    • If they had an outage, delivery may be deferred and arrive later.

    6) Try Webmail

    Send from Webmail. If it works there, remove and re-add your account in the app.
